There is an old legend that states that far beyond the reaches of the empires, high above the world, there is a Castle in the Clouds, a utopia ruled by a benevolent eccentric named Aerinheart Mordekeller (? CG male elf, bard 20). It is said that whoever controls the Castle in the Clouds has the power to reshape the world.

Lord Aerinheart is said to be one of the last of the heirs to throne of the Dorian Empire, and that he spurned the throne to build his utopia in the sky.
